Cleaner, sharper UI in newly generated apps

A visual glitch was causing roughly half of all generated apps to render an unintended glowing shadow effect around elements. Generated apps now look exactly as designed — crisp and polished.

  • Unwanted colored glow effects no longer appear around cards and UI elements
  • Generated app visuals more faithfully match your chosen design style
  • Applies to all new apps built from today forward

Free-tier builders get a second chance when they hit the credit wall

If you ran out of credits mid-build before finishing your app, OverSkill will now offer a one-time recovery grant during your first week so you can pick up right where you left off.

  • Eligible builders receive bonus credits to finish an in-progress app
  • Grant is sized to how far along your build was — barely started vs. almost done
  • Recovery credits expire after 7 days to keep things moving

Your credit dashboard now shows builder vs. app AI spend separately

Credits you spend building your app in the editor and credits your published app's users spend on AI features are now tracked and displayed separately — so you always know exactly where your AI spend is going.

  • See 'Builder AI' and 'App AI' as two distinct line items in your dashboard
  • Understand your own editing costs separately from your end-users' activity
  • Easier to forecast costs as your app grows its own user base

Pagination in your app's data lists now works correctly

Apps with large data tables were ignoring the 'offset' parameter and always returning results from the top of the list, making it impossible to page through records properly. That's now fixed — your app's lists scroll through data exactly as designed.

  • Paging through long lists in your published app now works end-to-end
  • Total record count, current page, and limit are returned correctly
  • Any integrations or tools reading your app's data lists get accurate results

Signing in via a connected app no longer dead-ends after login

If one of your published apps sent a signed-out user to log in, after they signed in they'd land on a blank page with no way to get back into the app. Now the login flow completes the full round-trip and drops them exactly where they need to be.

  • End-users of your published apps complete login and land in the right place
  • No more broken callback loops when users arrive signed out
  • Works for any app that uses OverSkill's built-in login flow

Arcade points now save no matter how you exit a build

Points earned in the build arcade were only saved if you waited for the build to fully complete — exiting early, closing the game, or clicking 'View app' would silently drop your score. All exit paths now save your points.

  • Points bank correctly whether you exit early, finish, or close the window
  • Mid-build 'Bank & exit' now actually banks your score
  • No more mystery zero-point sessions

Set tax-inclusive pricing & discount codes without leaving OverSkill

Creators selling in Europe, the UK, Sweden, and other VAT/GST regions can now switch to tax-inclusive pricing and create discount codes directly inside their payments settings — no external dashboard detours required.

  • Display prices with tax already included, so customers in VAT regions see exactly what they'll pay
  • Create and manage discount codes for your products from one place
  • Tax pricing changes now save reliably — a bug that caused updates to silently do nothing has been fixed

AI support assistant gives clearer answers about billing

The in-app support assistant now stays in its lane: if it doesn't have verified information about your account, it will tell you rather than guessing or echoing back unverified numbers. You get more honest, reliable answers when asking billing-related questions.

  • Support chat no longer confirms billing figures it can't actually verify
  • Clearer, more trustworthy responses when your question touches your account or charges
  • Less confusion from answers that sounded confident but weren't backed by real data

Apps no longer freeze in open tabs after a slow connection

A bug that caused OverSkill pages to hang indefinitely in your browser — requiring a full DevTools workaround to escape — has been fixed. All open tabs now recover gracefully when a connection is slow or briefly interrupted.

  • No more infinite-spinner tabs that refuse to reload
  • Works across all open OverSkill tabs simultaneously
  • No action needed — the fix is live for everyone

Page navigation in the editor no longer gets stuck

When switching between pages in the editor, the preview now always loads the page you actually selected — no more getting locked onto a sub-page after browsing around.

  • Click any page in the selector and the preview reliably jumps to that page
  • No more manual refresh needed to escape a stuck preview

Show or hide your password anywhere it's needed

Every password field across your account — including settings and profile updates — now has a show/hide toggle so you can confirm what you're typing before saving.

  • Tap the eye icon on any password field to reveal or hide your input
  • Works consistently across account settings, not just the login screen

Your app's built-in support agent now understands questions better

The support knowledge base your app uses to answer user questions now finds the most relevant answers by meaning — not just exact word matches. A behind-the-scenes model update also restores AI memory and idea features that had silently stopped working.

  • Support responses match what users actually mean, not just keywords
  • App memory and saved ideas work correctly again
  • More accurate answers from your existing knowledge base content

Templates browser now shows every template, no repeats

When browsing or searching templates, you could previously see the same template twice or miss others entirely as you paged through results. Every template now appears exactly once, in a consistent order.

  • Browse all available templates without hitting duplicates
  • Search results stay consistent as you page through
  • No more accidentally skipping templates that match what you need

Usage Dashboard now shows all your apps accurately

The Usage by App view was missing some apps and showing totals that didn't match the breakdown. Everything lines up correctly now — every app you've built appears, and the numbers add up.

  • All apps now appear in your usage breakdown, not just published ones
  • The total usage figure now matches the sum of your individual app rows
  • You get a complete, trustworthy picture of where your credits are going

Fetching large web pages no longer freezes your AI build session

If your AI assistant tried to read a very large file or webpage during a build, it could get stuck in a loop, lose your connection, and burn through credits without making progress. That's now fixed — large content is handled cleanly and your session stays on track.

  • AI build sessions no longer stall or disconnect when reading large web content
  • Credits are no longer wasted on repeated failed attempts
  • Your work-in-progress is preserved even when pulling in big external files
