First-time visitors see a clear Sign Up option — not a dead end

When you share your app with new users, they'll now see a prominent Sign Up option front and center, so they never get stuck on a login screen they can't use.

  • New visitors are guided to sign up first, not just log in
  • Eliminates the 'broken app' impression for first-timers
  • Fewer confused users means fewer support questions for you

Support email replies now stay in the right conversation

When your users replied to support emails, their messages were sometimes creating brand-new tickets instead of continuing the existing thread. This is now fixed — every reply lands where it belongs.

  • Customer email replies correctly continue the original support conversation
  • No more duplicate or fragmented tickets from a single back-and-forth thread

App publishing is now more reliable — fewer failed deploys

We fixed a timing issue that was causing a small number of app publishes to fail silently during busy periods, so your updates go live more consistently.

  • App publishes that previously timed out now complete successfully
  • More reliable deploys during peak hours
  • No changes needed on your end — this just works better now

AI auto-fix quietly resolves build errors before you notice

When your app hits a build error, OverSkill now attempts to fix it automatically before sending you any notification. You'll only get an email if the problem genuinely couldn't be resolved on its own.

  • No more alarming 'build failed' emails for issues that resolved themselves within minutes
  • AI auto-repair runs silently in the background first — you're only notified if it truly needs your attention
  • Fewer interruptions, more confidence that your app is in good hands

Read-aloud in your apps no longer burns through your credits

Long-form text narration (like summaries, articles, or guides) now uses your device's free built-in voice by default, so listening to content in your app costs nothing. Premium HD voice is still available for sound effects and music.

  • Unlimited read-aloud for long content without touching your credit balance
  • Premium voice credits are now reserved for sound effects and HD audio where they matter most
  • Your users can listen to full-length content without you worrying about runaway costs

Status alerts no longer pull you away from your work

When OverSkill shows a system notice (like an AI slowdown warning), clicking the link now opens in a new tab so you never lose an in-progress build or generation.

  • Status banner links open in a new tab — your work stays open
  • No more accidentally navigating away mid-generation

Voice narration sounds dramatically better on Mac & iPhone

The built-in text-to-speech in your apps now automatically picks the highest-quality voice available on each device — including Siri-quality enhanced voices on Apple devices — instead of defaulting to robotic-sounding system voices.

  • Apple devices now default to natural, enhanced voices instead of robotic compact ones
  • Voice quality is automatically ranked so your users always hear the best option their device supports
  • Mac users are gently nudged to enable Premium voices for an even better experience

Custom domains now show every DNS record you need from day one

When you add a custom domain, OverSkill now immediately surfaces all the DNS records required to activate your domain and SSL certificate — including the ones that were previously missing for root domains. No more waiting or guessing why your domain wasn't going live.

  • All required DNS records appear the moment you connect a custom domain
  • Root domains (apex domains like example.com) now get the full record set upfront
  • A clear status flag tells you when your DNS is fully configured and SSL is ready
  • Fewer back-and-forth support requests to get a domain fully live

AI plan steps now complete reliably when your build finishes

When the AI finishes building a feature using a step-by-step plan, all steps now correctly show as completed — no more tasks stuck in a 'pending' state that made it look like your build wasn't done.

  • Plan progress accurately reflects when your app is fully built
  • No more confusing 'incomplete' status on plans that actually succeeded
  • The editor no longer incorrectly prompts you to resume a build that already finished

Only admins can invite new teammates

Inviting people to your team workspace is now an admin-only action, giving your team clearer control over who can bring in new members.

  • Team admins control all invitations — regular members can no longer send invites
  • Cleaner permissions for agencies and teams managing client workspaces

Suggestion chips appear correctly after you send a message

After chatting with the AI builder, the quick-suggestion buttons now always show up when the AI responds — they were previously getting hidden and not reappearing for the new set of suggestions.

  • Quick-action suggestion buttons reliably appear after every AI response
  • No more missing chips that required a page refresh to get back

AI features inside your apps handle errors gracefully

AI-powered features in your published apps — like generating content or structured data — now recover cleanly from unexpected hiccups instead of showing a hard error to your users. Retries happen automatically, and your app stays functional.

  • AI generation errors in your published app now show a recoverable message instead of crashing
  • Large AI outputs (like generating a full document) no longer fail silently
  • Newly generated apps are built with more resilient AI patterns from the start

Video and calendar embeds work reliably in published apps

YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, Calendly, Stripe, and other embedded content now loads correctly in your published apps. Previously, these could be silently blocked, breaking course pages, booking pages, and checkout flows.

  • YouTube, Vimeo, and Loom videos display properly in published apps
  • Calendly booking widgets and Stripe payment UIs no longer get blocked
  • Thank-you pages, course pages, and landing pages with embeds just work

Notification preferences page matches the latest design

The Notification Preferences page has been refreshed to match OverSkill's updated look and feel — consistent colors, checkboxes, and dark mode support throughout.

  • Notification settings now look consistent with the rest of the OverSkill dashboard
  • Dark mode works correctly on the preferences page

Publish badge now flags visibility changes as pending

When you change who can access your app (for example, switching from public to login-required), the Publish panel now correctly shows that change as unpublished so you know to deploy. Previously it would show 'up to date' and the change wouldn't go live.

  • Visibility changes (public, login-required, etc.) now appear as pending in the Publish panel
  • No more silent misses — you'll always know when a settings change needs a fresh publish
