AI image generation no longer gets stuck in a failure loop

In some cases the AI builder would get stuck repeatedly trying — and failing — to generate an image, stalling your entire build. This is now fixed, and the builder recovers cleanly and moves on.

  • AI-generated apps with images build reliably without getting stuck
  • If an image generation hiccup occurs, the builder recovers and continues instead of looping

Support tickets now have a short, shareable ID

Every support ticket gets a unique readable code (like OS-XXXXXX) from the moment it's created, making it easy to reference the same issue across conversations, emails, or team chats.

  • Short codes use an unambiguous alphabet — no confusing 0/O or 1/I mix-ups
  • Reference the same ticket consistently no matter where the conversation happens
  • Codes are assigned immediately so they're available right away

Images inside tabs, carousels, and hidden sections now load

Images placed inside collapsible sections, tabs, carousels, or any container that starts hidden were silently never appearing in published apps. They now load correctly as soon as they come into view.

  • Images in tabs, accordions, and carousels now display properly
  • Lazy-loaded and optimized images work in every layout — not just ones visible on first load
  • Fixes a platform-wide issue that could affect any app with hidden or off-screen content

AI builder image credits now billed correctly

Image generation inside the AI app builder was not correctly counting against the right user's credits due to a regression. This is now fixed — credits are tracked accurately per creator.

  • Image generation credits are now deducted correctly when building or editing apps with AI
  • Billing is accurate regardless of which AI model is used for image generation

Import apps directly from a public GitHub URL

You can now start an import by pasting a public GitHub repo link — no more downloading a zip file just to re-upload it. The same smooth import experience kicks in automatically.

  • Paste a GitHub URL and OverSkill handles the rest — no manual file export needed
  • Works alongside the existing zip upload, so you can use whichever is easier
  • Same progress tracking and insights you'd get from any other import

Word & Office file uploads now work reliably in your apps

You can now attach Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint files, and other Office formats when building with OverSkill — they'll be processed correctly instead of throwing an error.

  • Upload .docx, .doc, .xls, .pptx, .rtf, and more without hitting a dead end
  • Office file attachments are now handled as cleanly as PDFs and images
  • No more failed generations caused by an unsupported file type

Theme editor now applies changes the way you'd expect

Two frustrating bugs in the theme editor are fixed — your style changes now show up immediately and reliably, with no extra clicks or mysterious double-refreshes.

  • Selecting a theme style now shows a clear Apply button right where you're working, so changes no longer get lost
  • Applying a theme no longer triggers multiple page reloads — one change, one smooth update

Watch your import happen in real time

The import page now shows you a live step-by-step view of what's happening as OverSkill analyzes and rebuilds your app — no more staring at a blank spinner.

  • Live checklist shows exactly which stage your import is at
  • See analysis insights as they're discovered, not just at the end
  • Know when your app is ready without guessing

Large app imports are now more resilient — fewer dead ends

When importing a large project that rebuilds many files at once, OverSkill now automatically retries if something partially fails, so your import keeps moving forward instead of getting stuck.

  • Imports that previously stalled on a partial file failure now recover automatically
  • No more manually restarting a large import from scratch
  • Bigger, more complex projects import more reliably end-to-end

See which app used your AI credits on the Usage tab

The AI Usage tab now shows a breakdown by both model and app, so you can see exactly where your credits are going across all your projects.

  • Spot which apps are consuming the most AI usage at a glance
  • Usage is grouped by both model and app in a single table
  • Easier to manage credits across teams and client projects

AI builder no longer gets stuck mid-generation on tool errors

The AI that builds your app will no longer incorrectly declare itself "done" when it hit an unresolved issue mid-way through — it now catches those situations and handles them properly before finishing.

  • Fewer half-finished app generations that looked complete but weren't
  • The builder now correctly finishes or flags issues rather than quietly stopping early
  • More consistent, complete results from a single generation run

Turn off desktop notifications and they actually turn off everywhere

Disabling desktop notifications from the account settings now correctly turns them off across all your devices — not just the one you used to toggle the setting.

  • One toggle now silences notifications on your laptop, phone, and any other signed-in device
  • No more stray notifications pinging on a second device after you thought you'd turned them off

Test your app exactly as a real user would

When you preview your own app as a builder or team member, you can now switch to a true end-user view — so permission and access rules are tested accurately, not bypassed.

  • Catch permission issues that were previously invisible during your own testing
  • Preview the exact experience a real user sees, not an admin-level override
  • Build with confidence that what you test is what your users get

New app deploys complete up to 60% faster

Deploying updates to your app now takes roughly 10–12 minutes instead of 26, thanks to smarter behind-the-scenes preparation that kicks in the moment a change is detected.

  • Ship updates to your users in half the time
  • Faster deploys with no change to reliability or safety
  • Less waiting around after you hit publish
Improved Link

Failed deploys caused by temporary glitches now self-recover

If a deployment fails in the very first moments due to a temporary network or cache hiccup — not anything wrong with your app — OverSkill now automatically retries it for you instead of leaving it broken.

  • Transient deploy failures resolve themselves without you needing to do anything
  • Genuine build problems are still surfaced clearly so nothing is hidden
  • Fewer surprise "deploy failed" notifications for issues that weren't your fault
