Uploaded images in chat no longer crop or overflow

When you sent a photo in the app builder chat, it could appear squished and cut off next to your message instead of sitting neatly below it. That layout bug is now fixed.

Images in your published apps now load reliably everywhere

Images stored in subfolders (like a press or team section) were showing as broken in published apps. This is now fixed so every image renders correctly for your end users.

  • No changes needed from you — already-published apps benefit automatically

Seeding data into your apps works reliably again

Apps that use author-tracked data tables were failing silently when you tried to seed them with starter records — showing a vague error with no clear fix. That's resolved.

  • Seed data now inserts successfully into all table types, including author-tracked ones
  • No more 'Failed to insert any records' errors when setting up your app's initial content
  • Affected apps (like Officehub) will work correctly going forward

System status banners now match your app's theme

When OverSkill posts a status or incident notice, the banner now adapts to light and dark mode correctly instead of always appearing as a jarring dark strip on a light page.

Export as ZIP now appears correctly in the publish menu

The Export as ZIP option was missing from the publish screen for nearly all users. It's back in the right place — you can now export your app as a ZIP file directly from the publish menu.

Optimized images load correctly again across all apps

A recent update accidentally caused all optimized images to return a "not found" error. This is now fixed — images in your apps load fast and reliably again.

Clearer info on how social login works across your apps

The help docs for social login (Google, GitHub) have been updated to accurately explain how sign-in works on the OverSkill platform and what's available today.

Dark mode visitors now see buttons clearly on the join page

The "Get Started" button was showing white text on a light green background for visitors using dark mode on their device — making it nearly invisible. The contrast is now correct and the button is easy to read for everyone.

A sequencing issue caused the very first publish of a new app to get stuck and never fully go live. This is now resolved — your app publishes successfully the first time, every time.

AI-generated app icons now match OverSkill's clean, flat style

App icons created by AI used to come out with glossy gradients that looked out of place. Now every generated icon uses a flat, solid look that fits right in with the rest of your app's design.

You can now connect your OverSkill app to a ClickFunnels 2.0 Customer Center so your members never have to log in twice — one click in your app takes them straight into their member area, already authenticated.
