Uploaded images in chat no longer crop or overflow

When you sent a photo in the app builder chat, it could appear squished and cut off next to your message instead of sitting neatly below it. That layout bug is now fixed.

  • Uploaded photos display cleanly below your chat message
  • No more cropped or overflowing images in conversation view

Images in your published apps now load reliably everywhere

Images stored in subfolders (like a press or team section) were showing as broken in published apps. This is now fixed so every image renders correctly for your end users.

  • Nested image folders no longer produce broken images in production
  • Affects images in any subfolder under your app's image directory
  • No changes needed from you — already-published apps benefit automatically

Seeding data into your apps works reliably again

Apps that use author-tracked data tables were failing silently when you tried to seed them with starter records — showing a vague error with no clear fix. That's resolved.

  • Seed data now inserts successfully into all table types, including author-tracked ones
  • No more 'Failed to insert any records' errors when setting up your app's initial content
  • Affected apps (like Officehub) will work correctly going forward

System status banners now match your app's theme

When OverSkill posts a status or incident notice, the banner now adapts to light and dark mode correctly instead of always appearing as a jarring dark strip on a light page.

  • Status banners respect your dashboard's light or dark theme setting
  • Easier to read and no longer visually clashes with the rest of the interface

Export as ZIP now appears correctly in the publish menu

The Export as ZIP option was missing from the publish screen for nearly all users. It's back in the right place — you can now export your app as a ZIP file directly from the publish menu.

  • Export as ZIP is now visible and usable from the publish modal
  • Works for all users, not just a small subset
  • One fewer reason to leave the app to get your project files

Help article: How buyer credit wallets work (now with screenshots)

The help article explaining how to offer AI credits to your app's buyers is now published and includes annotated screenshots of exactly where to find every setting.

  • Step-by-step visuals showing the credit fields in your plan editor
  • Screenshots of the Monetize AI credits summary so you know what buyers see
  • Available now in the Help Center

Optimized images load correctly again across all apps

A recent update accidentally caused all optimized images to return a "not found" error. This is now fixed — images in your apps load fast and reliably again.

  • App images display correctly everywhere they appear
  • Fast, optimized image delivery is fully restored
  • No action needed — this is automatic for all apps

Clearer info on how social login works across your apps

The help docs for social login (Google, GitHub) have been updated to accurately explain how sign-in works on the OverSkill platform and what's available today.

  • Docs now correctly explain that login is managed at the platform level, not per-app
  • Apple sign-in availability is accurately documented
  • Reduces confusion for builders configuring sign-in for their users

Dark mode visitors now see buttons clearly on the join page

The "Get Started" button was showing white text on a light green background for visitors using dark mode on their device — making it nearly invisible. The contrast is now correct and the button is easy to read for everyone.

  • "Get Started" CTA is now readable in dark mode
  • Consistent, accessible button appearance across all devices and OS settings

First-time app publishing now completes reliably

A sequencing issue caused the very first publish of a new app to get stuck and never fully go live. This is now resolved — your app publishes successfully the first time, every time.

  • First publish no longer stalls or silently fails
  • Apps go live as expected without needing a second attempt

AI-generated app icons now match OverSkill's clean, flat style

App icons created by AI used to come out with glossy gradients that looked out of place. Now every generated icon uses a flat, solid look that fits right in with the rest of your app's design.

  • AI-built icons no longer look like generic stock app icons
  • Generated icons now match OverSkill's flat design style automatically
  • No manual tweaking needed to get a polished, on-brand icon

Editor & profile screens look sharper across the board

A round of visual fixes tidies up misaligned icons, layout issues in editor panels, and rough edges on profile and settings screens. Everything looks and feels more polished today.

  • Editor panels and table icons now sit in the right place
  • Profile and settings screens display cleanly without layout quirks
  • Offline state and other edge-case screens render correctly

ClickFunnels 2.0 single sign-on: log in once, access everything

You can now connect your OverSkill app to a ClickFunnels 2.0 Customer Center so your members never have to log in twice — one click in your app takes them straight into their member area, already authenticated.

  • Members who are logged into your OverSkill app are automatically recognized inside your ClickFunnels 2.0 Customer Center
  • No more friction at the gate — removes the second login step that caused drop-off
  • Works with existing ClickFunnels membership setups, no rebuilding required

Export your app as a ZIP — delivered straight to your inbox

You can now export your entire app as a ZIP file directly from the Publish panel, and it'll be emailed to you when it's ready — no waiting around.

  • One-click ZIP export from the Publish modal
  • Runs in the background so you can keep building
  • Delivered by email when ready, with a live progress indicator while you wait

Your published app's social preview image now shows correctly

When sharing a published app link on social media or in messages, the preview thumbnail will now reliably show your actual app instead of a generic OverSkill placeholder.

  • Published apps now generate real social share preview images
  • Links shared on Slack, Twitter, iMessage, and more show your app's actual screenshot
  • No extra steps required — it just works for all published apps
