Visual Editor toggle gets a polished new look
The Visual Editor now has a cleaner, more intuitive toggle button and a floating status pill so you always know which editing mode you're in. Labels and controls are consistent and easier to read at a glance.
- A dedicated 'Edit' button in the toolbar makes switching to Visual Editor one clear click
- A floating 'Visual Editor' pill appears on your canvas so you're never confused about which mode is active
- Consistent labeling across tooltips and buttons for a smoother editing experience
Visual editor now saves your styles exactly as intended
A bug in the visual editor was silently erasing font sizes and other styles when you made unrelated edits — that's now fixed, so what you see is always what gets saved.
- Changing text alignment no longer accidentally removes your font size
- Color and border edits no longer wipe out other styling you've set
- Moving elements around the page now works reliably every time
Publishing large apps no longer times out
Apps with many data tables — especially larger, more complex projects — were sometimes getting stuck in a timeout loop during publish. That's fixed, and deploys now complete reliably regardless of how many tables your app has.
- Publishing apps with dozens or hundreds of data tables now completes without hanging
- No more repeated timeout errors when trying to go live with a complex app
Preview panel no longer flashes or double-reloads while building
While your app was being generated, the preview window was flickering and reloading twice in quick succession. It now updates smoothly and only once, so you can watch your app come to life without the distraction.
- Live preview refreshes once cleanly instead of flashing or jumping
- Smoother, more confident feedback while your app is being built
Visual text edits now work even on wrapped or split headlines
Clicking to edit a headline or any text that wraps across a line break no longer fails with 'This text isn't in your app's code' — OverSkill now finds and updates it correctly.
- Hero headlines and other text split across line breaks are now fully editable
- Visual edit works reliably on more complex text layouts
- No more false 'text not found' errors on content you can clearly see
