Code snippets in chat display correctly — no stray backticks

When your app's AI chat referenced code or technical terms wrapped in backticks, extra characters sometimes appeared in the output. That visual glitch is gone, and formatted responses now render cleanly every time.

  • No more stray backtick characters appearing in chat responses
  • Code and technical terms inside chat display as intended
  • Cleaner, more professional output for your app's users

Mobile chat is smoother, faster, and easier to use

Building on your phone just got a major upgrade. The chat experience on mobile has been redesigned so it stays out of your way — suggestions appear as quick-tap chips instead of a list that buries your keyboard, and a new button makes it easy to start or continue a conversation from anywhere on the screen.

  • Suggestion chips now appear in a scrollable row below the chat input — no more list blocking your view while typing
  • A new floating action button lets you jump into chat instantly without scrolling back to the top
  • Fixed a bug on iPhone where the keyboard would cause the text field to zoom in unexpectedly

Profile photos now upload without errors

Uploading a new profile photo was failing for everyone — that's now fixed and uploads work reliably again.

  • Profile photo uploads complete successfully instead of showing an error
  • Invalid file types are still rejected, but no longer crash the page

Your account settings page has a fresh new look

The Profile, Connected Accounts, and Security settings pages have been updated to match OverSkill's current design — cleaner layout, clearer sections, and a style that feels consistent with the rest of the app.

  • Profile and security settings now match the modern OverSkill look and feel
  • Cleaner panel layout makes it easier to find and update your account details

App previews load your content instead of a blank screen

In some cases, previewing your app would show an empty OverSkill placeholder instead of your actual app — this edge case has been closed so your preview reflects your real work.

  • Previews now reliably show your latest app content
  • Fixes a race condition where the preview could get out of sync with your most recent edits

Dark mode now stays dark — no more flash on page load

Your chosen dark or light theme now sticks reliably across every page, including billing, account settings, and the editor. No more having to re-toggle after navigating around the app.

  • Dark mode persists when moving between any section of the app
  • No more blinding flash of white when landing on billing or upgrade pages
  • Theme stays consistent on iPhone and Android too

Custom domains: clearer errors and no more duplicate 'live' emails

Adding a custom domain you've used before now gives you a helpful, plain-language message instead of a cryptic error. Plus, you'll no longer get flooded with multiple 'Your Domain is Live!' confirmation emails after connecting a domain.

  • Friendly explanation if you try to add a domain already connected to one of your apps
  • Only one 'Domain is Live' email — no more duplicate notifications
  • Domain connection process handles edge cases (like a transferred registrar) without endlessly spinning

AI builder no longer repeats itself mid-generation

A bug causing the AI to output duplicate 'Design Direction' blocks on almost every generation has been fixed. Your builds should now come out clean and consistent from the first try.

  • Duplicate design sections no longer appear in generated apps
  • More predictable, cleaner output on every AI build turn
  • Fixes a persistent issue reported across multiple projects

Credit usage popover is easier to read and stays open

The credit usage display in the editor toolbar has been polished — it no longer hides behind other panels, and the popover stays open while you move your cursor to it instead of snapping shut.

  • Credit details popover no longer disappears when you move your mouse toward it
  • Popover no longer gets hidden behind the editor canvas
  • Cleaner toolbar layout with less visual clutter on smaller screens

Custom domains now connect automatically — no DNS confusion

The automatic domain connection flow is now cleaner and more reliable. Domains that weren't activating after setup will now update correctly, and the setup screen no longer shows duplicate or conflicting instructions.

  • Subdomains (e.g. yoursite.yourdomain.com) now activate correctly after setup
  • The domain connection screen no longer shows confusing duplicate DNS options
  • Domains that were stuck or showing as unverified should now resolve properly

Custom domains now activate reliably — no more stuck setups

Two silent bugs were preventing custom domains from fully activating after you added them. Both are now fixed, so your domain goes live with SSL as expected.

  • Custom domains no longer get stuck in a permanent 'pending' state after you add them
  • DNS setup instructions are now delivered correctly every time — no more missed or duplicate emails
  • SSL certificates activate automatically without any manual intervention needed

Feature gating on paid plans now works as expected

If you've built an app that unlocks specific features based on a buyer's plan, those gates will now correctly allow or block access. Previously, feature checks always returned 'no access' even for paying customers.

  • Buyers on paid plans now correctly unlock plan-specific features inside your app
  • You can store and manage feature flags per pricing tier
  • No changes needed on your end — existing setups will start working automatically

Add a payment model to your app — choose from 5 options

You can now pick how you want to charge for your app directly inside the editor — from one-time purchases to subscriptions — and OverSkill builds the right payment flow automatically.

  • Choose your payment model from the editor's Monetization panel — no code required
  • Your app's AI builder now understands your chosen payment setup and generates the correct checkout experience
  • Apps built with payments are automatically checked for marketplace compatibility before you publish

Happy Hour savings messaging is now accurate

The Happy Hour tooltip previously claimed discounts that actually apply to all apps on OverSkill all the time. The copy now honestly reflects what Happy Hour actually adds on top of your baseline savings.

  • Clearer explanation of what Happy Hour does vs. your always-on platform savings
  • No change to actual savings — just honest numbers you can trust
New Link

Marketplace Readiness panel shows you exactly what to fix before publishing

A new panel in the editor's Monetization tab scans your app and tells you what's ready — and what still needs attention — before you list it on the marketplace.

  • See a clear checklist of what's passing and what needs fixing before you go live
  • Checks automatically adjust based on which payment model you've chosen
  • Results load instantly from cache so there's no waiting around
