Stuck 'Preview restarting…' spinner is gone

The editor preview could get permanently stuck on a 'Preview restarting…' overlay after a crash, with no way to recover short of refreshing the page. The preview now automatically heals itself and comes back without any action from you.

  • Preview recovers on its own after an unexpected crash
  • No more manual page refreshes needed to get your editor back

Sell your apps on the creator marketplace

You can now set up a creator profile and list your apps for sale — the seller onboarding flow and per-app pricing settings are live and working after a bug that was causing errors on that page has been fixed.

  • Creator profile editing page no longer crashes
  • Set individual prices for each app you want to sell
  • Connect your seller account to start earning from your builds

AI builder no longer gets stuck in endless fix loops

In some apps, the AI could enter a loop where it kept trying to fix an import error that it couldn't actually see — because the file existed in one place but not where the live preview needed it. Files now stay in sync, so the AI can move forward instead of spinning forever.

  • AI generation no longer stalls indefinitely on import errors it can't resolve
  • Files created during a build reliably appear in your live preview
  • Fewer failed or incomplete builds on complex apps

Apps no longer get stuck on 'Preparing Preview'

A bug that caused app previews to hang indefinitely — particularly after resuming a conversation — has been fixed. Your preview will now reliably appear once your app is ready.

  • Previews no longer stall after you continue building following an earlier error
  • Resuming work on an in-progress app now correctly triggers the preview to load

Complex apps now get up to 30 minutes to finish building

Larger, more sophisticated apps were sometimes cut off mid-generation because the builder hit a 15-minute time limit — even when real progress was still happening. The builder now intelligently tracks activity and gives your app up to 30 minutes of active build time, so ambitious projects can fully complete.

  • Complex apps with many features are far less likely to time out mid-build
  • The timer resets as long as the AI is actively working — idle time is what counts
  • Bigger, more feature-rich apps can now be generated in a single run

AI tool actions complete reliably, even during heavy use

When OverSkill was running many actions at once — like seeding a large app with lots of data — some actions would get stuck and never finish. This has been resolved so your builds complete fully every time.

  • No more actions stuck in a permanent 'running' state during complex builds
  • Apps with lots of simultaneous steps now finish correctly

Your projects are now accessible from the new homepage

If you're signed in and using the updated homepage experience, your in-progress apps now appear right below the main section — no need to navigate away to find what you were working on.

  • See all your existing projects without leaving the homepage
  • Pick up where you left off without extra clicks

Dark/light mode switches instantly — no more delay

Toggling between dark and light mode in the editor now happens instantly. The half-second freeze you may have noticed is gone.

  • Theme changes apply in place — no full page reload required
  • Switch between Light, Dark, and System appearance without losing your flow

Published apps stay live after every edit

A bug was causing previously published apps to appear offline to visitors after you made an edit. Your app now stays live and published through every update, exactly as expected.

  • Visitors no longer see 'App not published' after you save changes
  • Published status is preserved no matter how many edits you make
  • No action needed — all existing published apps are protected

Dark mode preview no longer flashes bright white

If you use the editor in dark mode, switching to the Preview tab now stays dark the whole time — no more jarring white flash before your app loads.

  • Smooth, consistent dark canvas when previewing your app
  • No more eye-straining white flicker on first load or tab switch

Preview panel no longer flickers or goes blank unexpectedly

The live preview of your app would sometimes flash a blank error screen repeatedly while you were building. That loop has been fixed — your preview stays stable as you work.

  • Preview iframe no longer gets stuck in a restart loop
  • Restarting or reloading your app's preview now cleanly replaces the old session instead of leaving ghost processes running

AI edits no longer silently delete parts of your app

When the AI ran into a problem mid-edit, it could accidentally overwrite your files with an incomplete version — quietly dropping sections of your app. That silent data loss is now prevented.

  • AI edits that hit a snag no longer overwrite your work with a broken version
  • Your app's content is protected even when something goes wrong mid-generation
  • Reduces the need to manually undo unexpected AI changes

Custom domain setup now works correctly for root domains

If you connect a root domain (like yourbrand.com instead of app.yourbrand.com), the setup instructions and SSL activation now show the correct steps. Previously, the wrong DNS instructions were shown, which could prevent SSL from activating.

  • Root domains (apex) now show the correct DNS records to add at your registrar
  • SSL certificates activate reliably for both root domains and subdomains
  • The publish flow clearly distinguishes which setup steps apply to your domain type

Your credit balance now shows the same number everywhere

The credit balance shown in different parts of the app could display inconsistent numbers, causing confusion about how many credits you actually had. Every screen now shows one accurate, unified balance.

  • Credit balance is consistent across your dashboard, editor, and billing pages
  • No more second-guessing which number is correct
  • The underlying balance was always accurate — only the display is fixed

Subscription cancellations now process fully and reliably

A behind-the-scenes issue was causing subscription cancellations to silently fail — your plan wasn't actually being downgraded and your usage limits weren't being reset. Cancellations now complete correctly every time.

  • Cancelling a subscription now reliably downgrades your plan as expected
  • Usage limits reset correctly when a subscription ends
  • No more silent failures where cancellations appeared to do nothing
