Bringing your own images and SVG logos

Attach images for the builder and understand how SVG logos and animated files are handled.

Attach the image with your builder request and say where it belongs. The chat accepts PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP images, with up to 20 total attachments per message. The image limit is 7 MB per file and 8,000 pixels in either dimension.

Images from earlier turns can remain available to the builder, but identify the one you mean. If it cannot find the attachment, attach it again; do not keep asking it to use a file it says it cannot access.

SVG logos

Where SVG attachments are enabled for your app, SVGs use a separate, sanitized asset path, with a 2 MB limit. They are not sent as ordinary raster images. If SVG upload is unavailable, use a PNG version or ask support about availability.

Ask the builder to use the uploaded asset. It should not recreate your SVG by writing a text file into the reserved image-asset path.

Animated images and video

Accepting a GIF or WebP does not guarantee that animation survives every processing step or that the AI reads every frame. Test the finished asset in the app.

An MP4, WebM or MOV is not an ordinary image attachment. For a finished video or animated logo, use a hosted media file or a supported player and ask the builder to add it to the page. Check its playback on the target devices; do not rename a video file to an image extension.

Uploading a new app icon is a separate control: see Your app's icon. Builder work uses credits.

Build with Overskill, not against it

The single biggest way to get more out of your credits: lean on what Overskill already gives you instead of asking it to rebuild things from scratch. Here's how to spot the difference.

How to ask the AI for changes

Better prompts get better results. The short guide to writing requests the AI nails on the first try.
