Frequently asked questions

Does connecting Google Sheets enable automatic two-way sync?

No. Connecting an account makes supported actions available to your app; it does not automatically synchronize a spreadsheet and your app's database. There is no general two-way-sync switch. Define when each read or write runs and test conflicts, duplicates and failures.

Can I limit access to one worksheet tab?

Google Sheets permission scopes cannot be restricted to one worksheet tab. Review the actual Google consent permissions and separately enforce which app users may read data or make changes. Choosing a range in your app is not a permission boundary.

How do I find the right Google Sheets action?

Use the connection setup guide and ask the editor to inspect the current supported actions and required inputs. The saved catalog may be out of date. Read one small test range and confirm the result before adding writes.

Can visitors use Sheets without signing in?

The ordinary Google Sheets action path requires an app user to sign in. A public form needs its own server-side workflow and access checks; connecting Google Sheets does not make private spreadsheet data public.
