See exactly what happened when a build attempt fails mid-chat

When a build attempt fails but your app is still running a previous working version in preview, you'll now see a clear notice explaining exactly that — no more wondering why the preview looks different from your latest chat.

  • Amber notice appears on failed attempts so you always know what's live in preview
  • No more confusion when your app shows an older version after a failed build
  • One-click reminder to refresh your preview if something looks off

Pricing page now shows your real annual savings when you switch billing

Toggling to annual billing on the pricing page now updates everything — the price, the '/month' label, the savings callout, and the checkout button — all at once.

  • Annual toggle now shows the correct price and 'Save 17%' message together, not just the number
  • Clicking a plan after switching to annual now takes you to the right checkout, not the monthly one

Dates, sliders, and list filters now work the way you expect

Several common UI issues have been fixed in AI-generated apps: date-based features (like daily goals) no longer show off-by-one errors, range sliders behave more intuitively, and list filters produce accurate results.

  • Daily goals and date counters no longer jump a day ahead or behind
  • Sliders in generated apps move and display values correctly
  • List and filter views now return the right records consistently

Partner and comped accounts no longer see a misleading 'Upgrade' prompt

If you're on a partner plan or have a credited account, the app now correctly recognises your status and offers to top up credits instead of pushing you to a plan you don't need.

  • Accounts with complimentary access or partner arrangements now see the right call-to-action
  • No more being directed to an upgrade page when you're already on the right plan

Embedded scripts and custom files now load correctly in published apps

Files you include in your app (like embed scripts or custom public assets) now load from the right location when your app is published — previously some of these files would silently 404 for your end users.

  • Embed scripts (like embed.js) now load correctly for anyone visiting your published app
  • Custom public files are served reliably without needing a workaround
  • Number fields stored as text now convert automatically, fixing subtle data display bugs

Template preview modal no longer gets stuck after opening in a new tab

In the template gallery, if you opened a live preview in a new tab and then came back, the preview modal would freeze and couldn't be closed without refreshing the page. That's now fixed.

  • Template preview modals close normally after you've opened them in a new tab
  • No more forced page refresh to get unstuck
  • Esc key, backdrop click, and the X button all work as expected again

Your app's users get free accounts — they never pay for credits

A new help article clears up one of the most common points of confusion: the people who use your published app sign in with a free OverSkill account and never need a paid plan or credits — that's only for you, the builder.

  • Your end users sign in for free — no credit card, no paid plan required
  • End users are completely separate from your creator account
  • Share your app confidently knowing your users won't hit a paywall just to sign in

Running low on credits mid-build? Now you can top up without losing your place

When a build pauses because you've run out of credits, you can now add more and keep going — right from where you are, no hunting through menus required.

  • A clear 'Add Credits' button now appears the moment your build is paused, so you're never left stuck wondering what to do
  • Topping up from the publish screen works too — no more dead ends when you're trying to launch
  • The checkout flow that was silently failing for some accounts is now fixed

Lock in your bonus credits rate right after you buy

When you purchase a credit pack, you'll now see a clear offer to lock in that same bonus rate for automatic top-ups — right on the success screen. Just say yes or no, no hunting through settings.

  • Bonus rate offer appears immediately after every credit pack purchase
  • One-click opt-in to auto top-up at that exact rate — no separate setup needed
  • Offer is specific to the pack you just bought, so the numbers always match

Support chat now sends messages and images reliably

Two bugs in the in-app support chat have been fixed: messages were getting erased before they could send, and image attachments weren't reaching the support agent. Both work correctly now.

  • Type your support message and hit send — it goes through every time
  • Attach screenshots or images to your support request and they'll arrive intact

Plan / Build mode switch stays consistent across your whole session

The toggle between planning your app and actively building it would sometimes fall out of sync, causing the editor to behave unexpectedly mid-conversation. It now stays reliably in whichever mode you chose.

  • Switch between Plan and Build modes and the editor respects your choice every time
  • No more unexpected mode changes mid-session when working on the same app

Auto top-up for credit packs now actually works after purchase

Automatic credit refills via Whop were silently failing for all buyers — your saved payment method was never being recorded, so charges couldn't go through. This is now fixed.

  • Credit packs purchased through Whop now correctly save your payment method for future automatic top-ups
  • Auto top-up will now trigger as expected when your balance runs low

Status page now reflects real platform health, not a placeholder

The OverSkill status page at /trust/status now shows live, accurate information about platform health — so you always know what's actually going on if something feels off.

  • Real-time health indicators for the services your apps depend on
  • Normal build activity (like a broken draft in your own app) no longer triggers a false 'Degraded' headline
  • Honest, clearly framed status so you can tell the difference between a platform issue and something in your project

Template gallery previews now show the right image every time

Several templates in the gallery were showing a blank placeholder instead of their preview image — that's fixed, so you can browse templates and see exactly what you're picking.

  • Templates like Blueprint, Ledger, Pulse, and others now display their full preview in the gallery
  • No more single-letter placeholders where a screenshot should be

Welcome email links for MarketingSecrets.ai founders now work correctly

Founders granted access through the MarketingSecrets.ai partnership were sometimes landing on a waitlist screen despite already having full access — the welcome email link now takes you straight in.

  • Welcome email deep-link now lands you directly in your account, not on the waitlist
  • If you've signed up with a different email than the one your access was granted to, the screen now explains what to do instead of leaving you stuck
