Builds no longer hang when AI gets stuck in a loop
A bug could cause the AI builder to spin endlessly for over 12 minutes without writing a single line of code. That's fixed — builds now move forward reliably instead of stalling out.
- No more builds that run for minutes and produce nothing
- The AI now recognizes when it's going in circles and breaks out automatically
- You get working code faster, without needing to cancel and restart
Dark mode inputs now look clean and consistent
Form fields — text boxes, dropdowns, and search inputs — were showing a blue-tinted background in dark mode instead of matching the rest of the app's neutral gray style. Everything now looks intentional and polished in dark theme.
- Text inputs, text areas, selects, and search fields all match the dark theme correctly
- No more mismatched blue-gray tint making your app look unfinished in dark mode
Checkout is now embedded — stay in the app to complete your purchase
The games funnel checkout now happens right inside the page, with a full summary of your offer visible as you pay — no more being bounced to a bare external form that showed nothing about what you were buying.
- See your offer details and pricing while you check out
- No redirects to external pages that could lose your session
- Paid buyers land directly in their dashboard after purchase
App previews stay live longer without unexpected timeouts
When resuming a paused app preview, it will now correctly respect your team's configured timeout window instead of resetting to a short default. Your previews stay active for the duration you expect.
- Resumed previews no longer cut out earlier than expected
- Your team's preview session length is honored consistently across pause and resume cycles
Credit expiry dates are now accurate across all plans
The games funnel previously told buyers that credits never expire — that wasn't true, and it's now corrected. Bonus and one-time credits expire after one year; monthly plan credits roll over on their normal cycle.
- Bonus credit expiry is now clearly shown before you buy
- Monthly plan credit rollover behavior is accurately described
- No more misleading 'never expires' messaging
Games funnel upgrades: $99 flat pricing & smoother sign-up flow
The Games upgrade path now offers a clear $99 flat upgrade option, and users coming in through a co-branded sign-up with Google or Apple will no longer hit an unnecessary extra authorization screen. The second upsell step is also restored and the confirmation page flow is cleaned up.
- $99 flat upgrade option is now available in the Games funnel
- Google and Apple sign-ups through co-branded flows no longer show a redundant authorization prompt
- The /gamescountdown page now correctly routes to the confirmation page, keeping the experience consistent
Uploaded files in the editor chat now send reliably
Files attached in the editor's chat window were silently failing to upload for some users — the attachment would disappear with no clear error. This is now fixed and uploads go through consistently.
- Attachments no longer vanish silently after you add them
- No need to rename files or retry uploads as a workaround
- Error messages now appear if something does go wrong
Push notification recovery now works for all existing apps
A tool to help you recover from broken push notification setups was previously only available in newly created apps. It now reaches every app on the platform, including ones you built before this feature launched.
- All your existing apps can now surface and fix push notification issues
- No need to rebuild or recreate your app to get access
- Recovery guidance appears automatically when a problem is detected
Input fields are now clearly visible in light and dark mode
Text input fields had borders that were too faint to see comfortably against their backgrounds in both light and dark themes. They now meet accessibility contrast standards, making forms easier to use for everyone.
- Input borders are now clearly visible in both light and dark mode
- Meets accessibility standards for users with low vision
- Applies across all apps built on OverSkill
AI features are more reliable — fewer errors reaching your users
Some apps were briefly showing raw technical error messages to end users when AI usage limits were hit. Traffic has been re-routed to prevent this, so your users see your app working smoothly instead of confusing errors.
- End users no longer see technical error messages from AI services
- AI-powered features in your apps are more consistently available
- Fallback routing is now in place to handle provider hiccups automatically
Support ticket replies now send email notifications
When a support ticket in your app gets a reply, the ticket owner now receives an email notification. Previously these notifications weren't going out, so replies could sit unread.
- Ticket owners are notified by email when a reply arrives
- Notifications work across all recognized ticket types
- Works on both desktop and mobile
Support tickets with open questions no longer auto-close
Tickets that still had an unanswered question or an unfulfilled promise were being automatically marked as resolved. That's now fixed — a ticket stays open until every outstanding question is genuinely addressed.
- Tickets with pending questions stay open until they're truly resolved
- Commitments made to customers are tracked and must be fulfilled before closing
- Reduces the chance of a user's issue being closed before it's actually solved
App builder no longer gets stuck on empty AI responses
In rare cases, the AI powering the app builder would return a blank response and the build would silently stall. The builder now catches this and handles it gracefully so your project keeps moving.
- Build process no longer hangs on blank AI responses
- Errors surface clearly instead of stalling silently
- More reliable generation across complex app requests
