AI employee · Follow-Up AgentLead and webinar follow-up

Every lead gets a reply while they still care.

Follow-Up Agent reads new leads from your inbox, forms and webinar exports, drafts a first reply in your voice, scores each lead, and chases quiet ones twice before stopping at the third touch. Every message waits for your yes.

What it does for you

  • A first reply in minutes

Switch on New lead watch and it checks every 10 minutes during working hours, drafting a first reply under 90 words: thanks, an answer, two next steps.

    From routine:New lead watch

  • Every lead scored, with a reason

Every lead gets a score and the one reason behind it, taken from what they actually wrote. Duplicates merge. Nothing is guessed.

    From memory:Lead score procedure

  • Three touches, then it stops

Quiet leads get a second touch after one business day and a third three days later. After that it marks them no-response. There's no fourth message.

A real run

What we gave it: Sample lead export · 7 new webinar and form rows plus 2 open leads from a fictional pilates studio. It ran on November 2, 2026, on version 2 of the template.

    What came in overnight?

Loaded its lead-ledger skill and read the pasted export: five webinar rows, a duplicate from the form, one overnight form lead and two open leads. The first path it tried was wrong; the second worked.

Who's hot, and who's the same person?

Scored all six new leads with a reason each, merged Erin Walsh's webinar and form entries into one lead, and timed every first reply against the 5-minute target.

    What should each one hear?

Loaded the follow-up skill and drafted six first replies from the studio's own offer facts, plus a second touch for a quiet lead. Every draft is held for approval.

Marked a lead with three unanswered touches as no-response instead of drafting a fourth, updated the eight-row ledger, saved both docs and sent the morning list.

What still needed a person

  • Approving the six first replies and the second touch. Nothing went out
  • Switching on New lead watch: it ships paused, so these leads waited overnight and missed the 5-minute target

What this run didn't measure

  • Live Gmail and HubSpot. This run read a pasted export, the template's fallback when no account is connected

Questions

Does it send anything without me?

No. First replies and every later touch stay drafts until you approve them. In its permission table, sending is set to ask, and it never contacts a lead a fourth time without a reply.

What does a run cost?

The morning list above used 13 credits and took about three minutes; the bill converts that at the Starter plan rate. Caps: 5 credits per New lead watch check, 30 per morning list or chase.

Which accounts does it need?

None to start. Connect Gmail for the inbox, and HubSpot or a Google Sheet for the ledger, and it reads them directly. Without them it works from the export you paste.

What can't it do yet?

It won't quote a price, date or opening that isn't in your notes; it says it will confirm instead. It doesn't call or text leads. And 5-minute replies need New lead watch switched on, because it ships paused.

When does it run?

New lead watch runs every 10 minutes, 8:00–19:00 Monday to Saturday, once switched on. The morning lead list goes out weekdays at 8:00 and the quiet-lead chase weekdays at 13:00. All three install paused.

Credits measured from the run's ledger on November 2, 2026, template version 2. Dollar amounts at the Starter plan rate of $0.01 a credit. Sample data is fictional.
