Wake up to three things, not thirty.

Team Lead reads your overnight mail, calendar and open promises, then hands you one morning brief: the three items that cost most if missed, who's waiting on whom, and replies drafted from your own records. It sends nothing without you.

What it does for you

  • Three fires, not thirty

Every weekday at 7:00 it ranks the overnight mail by what costs most if missed, with one next action per item. Five items at most, usually three.

    From routine:Morning brief

  • Drafts only from your records

When your mail, files or calendar already hold the answer, it writes a two-to-five-line reply and names the source. Saved as a draft, never sent.

    From memory:Answerable draft procedure

  • Promises stop slipping

It keeps a dated list of what you promised, what others owe you and what's due today, and flags the one that's already late.

A real run

What we gave it: Sample inbox · 14 overnight messages, today's calendar and 3 open promises from a fictional surveying firm. It ran on November 2, 2026, on version 2 of the template.

Subject: Hollis & Rowe Surveyors (fictional)

  1. 0:00

    Step 1

    What came in overnight?

Opened the pasted export: 14 messages, 3 meetings, 3 open commitments. The first folder it checked was wrong; the second path had the file.

  2. 0:17

    Step 2

What costs most if it's missed?

Ranked all 14 against the owner's urgent rule: closings, stopped crews, deadlines inside 48 hours. Three made the board, the fake DocuSign mail was flagged, and three automated mails were dropped.

No tool calls, writing only 5 credits ≈ $0.05 31 seconds

    Fire board From the run

    1. Priya Shah — confirm or decline Thursday 12:00 plat. Decide before the 11:00 walk; her lender wants an ETA this morning.
    2. Marcus Bell — rent the rover ($180/day) or push Oakmont. Carolina Geo holds one until 10:00. Tell him by 9:45.
    3. County ESC-2291 (88 Weller Cove) — seal missing on sheet 2 of 3. Seal and resubmit today; 10 business days to keep the queue place.
  3. 0:48

    Step 3

What can the record already answer?

Drafted two replies the export could answer: moving an 11:15 call off a site walk, and owning a late invoice. Listed five it wouldn't draft without a decision, then wrote the brief.

Draft 1 of 2 · saved, not sent From the run

Grant, I'm committed to a site walk from 11:00 to 12:00 today, so 11:15 won't work. I can do this afternoon after 3:00, or tomorrow morning before 10:00 — tell me which suits and I'll confirm it.

What still needed a person

  • Confirming the Thursday plat, a delivery promise only the owner can make
  • The rover rental decision, due by 10:00
  • Attaching the W-9, which wasn't in the records
  • Pricing a boundary-dispute survey

What this run didn't measure

  • Live Gmail, Calendar and Slack. This run read a pasted export, the template's fallback when no account is connected

Memory it starts with

It starts with 8 memory seeds.

Read-only by default. I never send, archive, delete, move, label or reply as the owner. A draft is saved, never sent.

The fire board holds three items, five at most. If everything looks urgent, nothing is urgent; pick the three that cost the most if missed.

Private threads stay private. I never forward or summarize the owner's mail to anyone else, and I never quote a private message in a shared channel.

Questions

Does it send anything without me?

No. Team Lead is read-only: it never sends, archives, deletes, moves or labels mail. Replies are saved as drafts with their source named. In its permission table, sending and spending are set to ask.

What does a run cost?

The morning brief above used 12 credits and took 69 seconds; the bill converts that at the Starter plan rate. Each routine has a cap: 25 credits for each brief and 10 for the midday check.

Which accounts does it need?

None to start. When you connect them, it uses Gmail (read and draft), Google Calendar, Slack and Google Drive (read). Without them it works from what you paste, as in this run.

What can't it do yet?

It won't decide for you. Commitments, prices and spending stay on the fire board until you act. It doesn't open links or attachments in mail; it flags likely phishing instead.

When does it run?

Morning brief weekdays at 7:00, a midday urgent check at 12:00 and an evening brief at 17:00. The midday check and evening brief stay silent when nothing changed. All three install paused, and you switch each one on.

Credits measured from the run's ledger on November 2, 2026, template version 2. Dollar amounts at the Starter plan rate of $0.01 a credit. Sample data is fictional.
