Overview

Belfry is a complete operations platform for a change-ringing society and the tower it manages. It tracks a ring of bells, ringing members, methods and standards, peals and quarter-peals, practice schedules, tower fabric and repairs, recruitment, and striking-competition results across a district of affiliated towers.

The signature screen

The Tower Board is the centrepiece, carrying each bell as a dense row of its number, note, weight in hundredweight-quarters-pounds, founder and casting year, diameter, headstock and bearing type, clapper and stay condition, rope length and condition, last quarter-turn date, and hard flags marking excessive clapper play, cracked stay, worn rope end, muffle fitted or out-of-use status. Surrounding it are the member register, peal and quarter-peal register, practice diary, frame fabric record and all other operational data in a unified view.
