Cordage

Cordage is a complete production, order and wholesale operations app for a traditional ropewalk. The Walk Board tracks every rope in production as a dense register — order number, customer and end use, fibre, construction, diameter, length, strand count, lay length, target breaking load in kN and the eight-stage pipeline from Fibre Prep to Despatched, with hard flags for wrong lay length, over-twisting, strand breaks, short fibre lots, failed load tests, customer witness requirements and past-due deliveries. Alongside it: a fibre store with origins, bale weights, moisture contents and reorder points; a spinning and stranding register with runnage, twist direction and diameter variance; a lay and tension log with foreman sign-off; a breaking-load test house issuing certificates with witness names; an order book with chandlery and rigging accounts; a custom splicing workshop; a heritage demonstration programme; and a customer portal where a boatyard can follow each rope's stage, pull its breaking-load certificate and reorder.
