Dunnage

Overview

Dunnage is a cask register, warehouse, excise and ownership system for a bonded whisky maturation estate. It tracks 38,400 casks held under bond across four earth-floored dunnage warehouses and one racked store for a distillery and 214 private owners, managing every cask's physical location, history, duty status and value throughout maturation.

The Cask Register is the core of the system, holding every cask by number, wood and history, age, original and regauged litres of pure alcohol, strength at fill and at last gauge, the angels' share per year, stow position, duty-suspended value and maturation stage. It surfaces hard flags for leakage, slipped hoops, overdue regauges, angels' share above expected and approaching duty points, giving operators immediate visibility of casks needing attention.
