A complete wastewater network operations console for a regional sewerage undertaker — the utility's own control record for 4,100 kilometres of foul, surface and combined sewer across four drainage areas, 260 pumping stations, 150 combined sewer overflow spill points, and the statutory obligations that attach to every one of them. The signature Console is a live control record: the network schematic drawn as a P&ID from catchment through combined sewer and main trunk interceptor to the terminal pumping station, rising main and water recycling centre, annotated with real flow, level and duty readings; beside it the plant state, the active alarm count and the permit breach position year to date against consent. Behind it: the Network Asset Register carrying every drainage area with its length by sewer type, material and age profile, gradient and hydraulic capacity; CCTV and condition surveys recorded reach by reach with MSCC defect codes, structural and service grades and the grade-5 list that drives the capital programme; blockages and flooding with the cause attributed — fat, oil and grease, unflushables, root ingress, structural collapse — internal and external flooding incidents against the statutory register, response times against target and the repeat-incident hotspots; pumping stations with duty and standby sets, kilowatt ratings, wet-well levels, run hours, telemetry health and the maintenance schedule; combined sewer overflows with event duration monitoring, spill counts and hours against the permit condition, the twelve-twenty-four rule applied, and a verdict of compliant, under review or breach reached for each; the rehabilitation programme with lining, patching and open-cut schemes costed against the capital allowance and sequenced by risk; Section 104 adoptions and Section 106 connections with the developer, the agreement stage, bond value and the vesting date; trade effluent consents with the discharging trader, the consented volume and strength, Mogden formula charging and sampling results against consent limits; and telemetry and alarms with every instrument, its last calibration, its alarm state and the operator acknowledgement. Field operators get their own portal for the day's jobs, the asset they are standing over, the confined-space and permit-to-work position, and the reading they need to record. Drawn entirely in the idiom of an ISA-101 high-performance HMI and the engineering drawing office — a greyscale value scale as the whole design language with amber and red reserved exclusively for abnormal state and never for decoration, hairline square-cornered frames, dense ruled tables, tabular monospace numerals, code-tagged module rails, and a hand-drawn schematic with a title block and a drawing revision. Zero photography, zero gradients.
