About this template
Lactarium is the complete working system of a donor human milk bank - the service that recruits and screens its donors, receives their frozen milk under cold chain, pasteurises it by the Holder method and proves the hold on a recorded probe trace, clears each batch through microbiology, analyses its macronutrients, holds it bottle by bottle against its own expiry, issues it against a named neonate rather than a ward, and can take a batch back off every cot it ever reached.
Fifteen real modules, each a browsable page with real seeded clinical data. The DONOR REGISTER carries every donor on the books with her recruitment route, approval date, lactation stage, volume donated to date and closure reason. SCREENING AND SEROLOGY holds each donor's panel - the serology markers, the lifestyle and medication declaration, the panel date and its expiry - because a donor donates only on a cleared, in-date panel. MILK INTAKE records every receipt at the door: the donor, the number of bottles, the volume, the expression dates, the transport temperature on arrival and the acceptance decision with its rejection reason. PASTEURISATION is the batch record itself - come-up, the thirty-minute hold at 62.5 degrees Celsius, cool-down, the probe trace, and the verdict conforming or hold breach. MICROBIOLOGY AND RELEASE holds the pre- and post-pasteurisation counts against their limits and the release decision that lets a batch leave quarantine.
MACRONUTRIENT ANALYSIS carries the fat, protein, carbohydrate and energy per batch against the lactation stage it came from. FROZEN INVENTORY places every bottle in its own freezer position against its own expiry. NEONATAL PRESCRIPTIONS names the infant, the clinical indication, the prescribed daily volume and the prescriber. DISPENSING AND TRACEABILITY records every issue with its batch, its bottles, both checkers and the donor behind it, so the chain runs unbroken in both directions. COLD CHAIN AND EQUIPMENT, THE WITHDRAWAL AND RECALL REGISTER, QUALITY AUDIT AND NON-CONFORMANCE and COURIER ROUNDS complete the bank's view. A DONOR PORTAL shows a donor what her milk has done and what happens next, and a MILK BANK DASHBOARD closes the loop.
The signature drawing is the pasteurisation time-temperature plate: the full Holder cycle ruled across a clinical record plate, the 62.0 to 63.0 degree tolerance corridor drawn with its bounds labelled at their terminal ends, the thirty-minute hold window ruled vertically through it, every batch probe trace drawn stepwise through come-up, hold and cool-down and named at its own terminal chip, and the one trace that dipped below the lower bound struck in batch-stamp vermilion and called out by batch number. Designed in 1950s Swiss dairy-cooperative enamel signage crossed with a clinical laboratory batch record card: a cold glacier ground, teal-black ink, cold slate rules, and a single vermilion reserved strictly for a hold breach, a failed count, an open excursion, an expired calibration or a recalled batch.
