About this template

Overview

Tradecraft is a quote-to-paid operations app for a plumbing, HVAC, roofing or cleaning business. A visitor requests an instant quote from the website, the owner turns it into a line-item estimate, the customer approves and pays a deposit in their portal, and the job moves across a five-column board until it is invoiced and paid. Home & Local Services vertical.

What you get

  • Landing with four services and flat starting prices, a six-town service area, written reviews and a live first step of the instant quote
  • Five-step instant quote (service, details, address, time preference, summary with an estimated range)
  • Job board with five columns — Quote requested, Scheduled, In progress, Invoiced, Paid — and a count and summed value per column
  • Job detail with an editable line-item estimate (qty × unit = line, reconciled total), crew, arrival window, photo count and notes
  • Dispatch calendar (crews × days), invoices list with a Mark paid control, and a customers table
  • Customer portal: approve the estimate, pay a 30% deposit, see the arrival window, leave a review after Paid
  • Demo role picker (Owner / Customer), 26 seeded jobs, empty, loading, error and success states, settings and billing

The signature screen

The job board shows every open job as a card — customer, service, street and town, estimate total, crew initials, arrival window and a photo count — in the column for its stage, with a drawn status mark instead of a colour. Cards move with a "Move to" control and settle in place; an Action needed flag marks jobs waiting on the customer. On a phone the board becomes one column at a time behind a stage switcher.

Who it's for

Owner-operators of small trade businesses — one to three crews — who want quotes, scheduling and payment on a single board instead of a notebook and a texting thread.
