Your dashboard loads dramatically faster

The app dashboard was running hundreds of unnecessary database lookups on every page load, causing multi-second delays. It now loads in a fraction of the time.

  • Dashboard page load dropped from 4,600ms+ to under 100ms in most cases
  • Editor chat history also loads faster, especially for long conversations

Your dashboard loads much faster

The apps dashboard was running hundreds of unnecessary database lookups on every page load, causing multi-second delays. It now loads in a fraction of the time.

  • Dashboard now runs under 20 database lookups instead of 400+
  • Noticeably faster load times in the editor too

Logging out now fully signs you out everywhere

If your app was accessible from both its friendly address and its overskill.app address, signing out on one didn't sign you out on the other. Now a single logout clears your session completely across all addresses.

  • Logout now works completely, regardless of which app URL you used to sign in

Transactional emails now show the correct OverSkill logo

Emails sent from OverSkill (like build notifications and support replies) were showing a blurry, broken, or missing logo. All emails now display the clean, sharp OverSkill brand mark.

  • Build notification and support emails now show the correct logo
  • Sharp rendering on retina and standard screens

Re-publishing an already-live app now works

After your first publish, hitting Publish again to push new changes was being blocked with an error — you can now republish as many times as you like.

  • Publish updates to your live app any time without errors
  • Changes to custom API endpoints now correctly reach your live app after publishing

Re-publishing an already-live app now works

After publishing your app for the first time, subsequent publishes were being rejected with a confusing error. You can now push updates to your live app as many times as you want.

  • Publish updates to your live app without errors
  • No more 'must be in ready state' block after first publish

The AI builder now proactively suggests audio features

When you describe something that could benefit from voice narration, sound effects, or background music, the AI now suggests built-in audio options without you having to ask.

  • Describe 'read aloud', 'narration', 'sound effects', or 'background music' and the AI offers audio automatically
  • Works for meditation apps, language tools, games, accessibility features, and more

AI now proactively suggests adding audio to your app

The AI builder will now proactively suggest built-in audio features — like text-to-speech, sound effects, or background music — whenever you describe a use case that would benefit from it, without you needing to ask.

  • AI suggests audio features for narration, accessibility, meditation, and more
  • Works the same way the AI already suggests auth and file storage

Buyers are now guided back to your app after purchase

Anonymous buyers completing a checkout were landing on Whop or a blank page instead of your app. The post-purchase flow now correctly brings them into your app to create an account.

  • Buyers land inside your app after purchase, not on a third-party page
  • The signup form pre-fills with the email used at checkout so buyers can get in immediately

AI won't suggest video uploads — only screenshots

The editor AI was incorrectly asking users to send screen recordings, then admitting it couldn't view them. It now only asks for still screenshots, which it can actually use.

  • The AI correctly asks for screenshots instead of videos
  • You can share a screenshot to show the AI what you're seeing or what you want

The AI no longer suggests sending screen recordings

The AI was sometimes asking users to send a 15–30 second screen recording for help — then saying it couldn't actually view video. It now consistently asks for still screenshots, which it can actually use.

  • AI now asks for screenshots instead of unviewable screen recordings
  • More accurate and helpful guidance when sharing your screen

Play Asteroids while your app builds

A fun optional minigame now appears over the preview pane while your app is building — play a round of Asteroids to pass the time. It hides automatically the moment your preview is ready.

  • Play Asteroids while waiting for your app to build
  • Game disappears automatically when your preview loads
  • Earn credits for clearing waves

Signing in via magic link now lands you on your dashboard

After signing in with a magic link or email code, you'll now land on your apps dashboard — not a settings page.

  • Magic link sign-in goes to the right place after login
  • Matches the same behavior as password and social sign-in

AI-generated image features now work with the latest models

Apps using logo generation, icon creation, or any image prompt were getting errors — those are now fixed and images generate reliably again.

  • Image generation works correctly with all current AI image models
  • Structured data responses from AI (like quiz results or product recommendations) no longer get cut off mid-response

Magic link sign-in lands you in the right place

Clicking a magic link or entering a login code was dropping you on a team settings page instead of your dashboard — you now land on your apps after signing in.

  • Magic link and email code sign-in now goes straight to your dashboard
  • The 'Last used' login method hint on the sign-in page helps you get back in faster
