Selling Call Now to a client: step-by-step setup

How to customize, publish and deliver the Call Now lead app to a local business, start to finish.

Sold the Call Now app to a business and not sure what to do next? You don't need the App Store. Call Now is a web app, and it runs in the browser on any phone or computer. Do these steps once for each client.

Step 1: Make it theirs

Open your copy of Call Now in the editor. It comes set up for a roofing company. In the builder chat, give it the client's details in one bounded message, for example:

Change the business name to Smith Plumbing, the phone number to 555-1234, and the assessment questions to be about plumbing problems. Change nothing else.

Builder messages use credits, the same as any other change.

Step 2: Publish

Click Publish in the top right. Your changes don't go live until you publish.

Step 3: Put it on the client's website

You have two options:

  • Link to it (easiest): add a button on their site, for example Get your free report, that links to the app's web address.
  • Embed it: in the editor, open Settings → Embedding. Add the client's site (starting with https://), click Save Embedding Settings, then Publish again. Then ask the builder: Don't change anything, just tell me: where do I get the embed code for the lead form? See Embed your app on another site.

Step 4 (optional): Use their own web address

To connect a domain such as quote.theirbusiness.com, open the Domains tab in the editor. See Connecting your own domain.

Step 5: Give the owner access

The business owner opens the same web address, signs in, and can add it to their phone's home screen from the browser. Every new lead shows up there, along with its answers, photos and report.

Step 6: Test it

Submit a test lead yourself and check that it shows up on the owner's side.

What you charge your clients is up to you.
