Crimp

A complete operations platform for an independent indoor climbing gym and its route-setting programme — a 14-metre lead wall, nine top-rope lines, a 220-square-metre bouldering cave across six setting zones, 1,180 members and roughly 3,400 holds. The signature Wall Board carries every zone as a dense row: zone code, square metres, panel angles, live problem count, date last stripped, days since reset against the target interval, the setter on the last reset, holds reserved for the next set, tape colour in use, and hard flags for RESET OVERDUE, HOLDS SHORT, BOLT TORQUE CHECK DUE, GRADE CONSENSUS DISPUTED and CLOSED FOR SETTING. Behind it: a register of every live problem and route with the setter's proposed grade set against the community consensus grade computed from member votes, style tags, hold brands, move count and send and flash counts; a rolling reset calendar with crew hours, the grade-spread brief each zone must carry and forerunning slots; a hold and volume inventory across 41 brands tracking what is on the wall against what is in stock, with worn holds flagged for retirement; membership with belay and lead certification expiries and waiver versions; a 38-strong youth squad with campus and hangboard load progressions and growth-plate cautions by age; a twelve-round boulder league with per-competitor scorecards, tops, zones and countback; and the safety spine of mat checks, anchor torque figures, rope fall logs against retirement thresholds and auto-belay service intervals. Members get their own portal with their certifications, a personal logbook that builds a grade pyramid, and their league standing. Drawn entirely in 1980s Memphis Group idiom — terrazzo-speckle grounds, squiggle rules, flat geometric primitives with hard offset shadows, and a hand-authored inline-SVG elevation of the cave where every grade band owns its real tape colour. Rigger

Rigger is the selection instrument for a masters rowing club. A club with more members than seats has to decide, every week, who sits where in which boat for the weekend race — and then has to defend that decision to the rowers who did not get a seat. Rigger makes the decision defensible by keeping the evidence in one place and showing the arithmetic in the open. The product is the squad ladder and the seat race. The ladder ranks every rower by an age- and weight-adjusted 2k erg score, so a 58-year-old lightweight and a 31-year-old heavyweight can be compared honestly rather than by raw split. The seat race screen runs the classic swap protocol: two boats, matched pieces over a set course, one pair of athletes exchanged between pieces, and the margin swing attributed per athlete — piece by piece, in seconds, with the wind and course conditions recorded alongside so a result can be read in context instead of taken on faith. Around that sit the rest of the coaching job: lineup builder with rigging side, seat and category per boat; erg history with 2k, 5k and 6k progression per athlete and adjusted-score trend; regatta entries with category eligibility and crew declaration; and attendance tracking, because a seat is earned at practice as much as on the machine. Every selection ends in a per-athlete verdict a coach can send out and stand behind. Built for masters rowing clubs, collegiate and junior programs, and any squad that selects competitively from a deeper roster than it can seat. The design is a race-results broadsheet — heavy condensed sign lettering, a running results ticker, tabular monospaced splits, hairline-ruled result tables and a single signal red used only for times and verdicts.

Riposte

Riposte is the complete operating system for a competitive fencing salle, built in the hard geometry of the Soviet Constructivist sports poster — a diagonal compositional axis, oversized numerals bleeding off the page, oxide-red rule bars and concentric target roundels, set in Anton, Inter and Space Mono on a bone ground. It is not a signup page: it is the software the club runs on. The signature screen is the club bout ladder, where every member is ranked by weapon (foil, epee, sabre) with classification, indicators, touches scored and received and an open challenge window, alongside recent 15-touch and 5-touch results logged with piste number and referee. Around it sits a week grid of the salle's six pistes by the hour covering open fencing, private lessons and the Tuesday sabre squad with a live booking flow and conflict handling; an armoury inventory tracking every foil, epee, sabre, body cord, lame, mask and bib by serial, last-tested date and pass or fail on the 12kg weight test, flagging what is overdue or out for repair; a private-lesson log recording coach, weapon, drill focus and notes with a season-long progression chart; and a member card carrying classification history, licence number and expiry and dues status. Ideal for fencing clubs, martial arts salles, combat-sport academies and any membership club that ranks its members, books its floor space and maintains safety-tested equipment.
