Sentinel

Sentinel is the match-fixing and betting-irregularity register of a sport's integrity unit — the file that decides whether a suspicious price movement on a fixture ever becomes a charge before an independent tribunal. It opens on the operating picture rather than on a marketing hero: a register sidebar on the left, a live market-alert ticker across the top, and the signature market-movement plate as the working canvas. One fixture is drawn out as an inline-SVG odds ladder stepping across twelve timed points, with the watch and critical thresholds ruled across it, the exact step where the alert fired marked on the line, and the traded volume at each step drawn as a bar beneath. Every bar is countable off the plate, and the caption tells you how many there are. The whole template is built on figures that prove themselves. The fold states ten alerts on the register and then prints the partition beside it — 1 critical + 4 high + 3 moderate + 2 low = 10 — while the ticker above independently enumerates all ten alerts by reference and severity, so a reader can recover the same total two different ways. Fixtures under live assessment are given as 2 of 8, with the denominator itself partitioned into severe 1, elevated 2, watch 3 and guarded 2. Participants fully declared reads 7 of 10 against two independent partitions of the same roster: education done 9 and outstanding 1, declarations filed 7 and outstanding 3. The twelve-step traded volume totals 2,710, which is the exact sum of the twelve bars drawn on the plate. No component contains a hand-typed number; every figure on the page is derived from one data layer by a single-pass classifier. Behind the public page the actual product exists. There is a market-alert inbox with the source operator, the market, the triggering price movement, a severity class and a triage state on every row. There is a fixture risk register banded across the competition. There are participant education and conflict-of-interest declarations with the outstanding ones called out. There are intelligence assessments carrying their grading, their evidence strands and a recommendation; charges laid under numbered rules with hearing dates, determinations and published sanction text; and a signed-in officer case view holding one officer's own assigned alerts, next hearing and outstanding assessments. The visual language is Bloomberg-terminal data density crossed with a betting-exchange ladder board: a near-black ground, a hard hairline grid used as the only ornament, tabular IBM Plex Mono numerals column-aligned so figures read down the page, and colour admitted strictly as signal — one amber for alerts, one green for cleared, one red for charged. Set in IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono and Archivo, with a scrolling marquee and scroll-reveal motion that both respect prefers-reduced-motion. There is no photography anywhere; all twenty-five pieces of imagery are drawn SVG. Adapt it for any governing body, league, regulator or monitoring partner that has to turn a stream of alerts into defensible decisions — anti-doping, officiating integrity, licensing compliance, or market surveillance outside sport entirely.
