Turnstile

Overview

Turnstile is the statutory safety file of a sports ground—the record kept jointly by the ground safety officer and the local authority's Safety Advisory Group that documents the facility's safety certificate, authorised capacity, and all conditions governing lawful admission. The app calculates and tracks how many people may be admitted and exactly where they may stand, deriving all capacity figures from sector-by-sector physical capacity, reduced by safety-management and physical-condition factors.

The signature screen

The safety officer's portal is the live command centre during match day, showing the current fixture, which sectors are open, stewards deployed across the ground, and real-time reconciliation of admissions against the authorised figure for each sector. This screen ties together the entire statutory file—turning static capacity calculations and safety plans into a dynamic, fixture-by-fixture operational record.
