About this template

Pebble is the complete working system of a curling club and its ice plant - the organisation that makes and maintains the ice, allocates the sheets, runs the leagues, sets the draws, scores the ends, measures shot percentages, matches the stones, hosts the bonspiel and teaches beginners to curl.

Thirteen real modules, each a browsable page with real seeded club data. The MEMBERSHIP REGISTER carries every member with category, year joined, usual playing position, delivery hand, club handicap and spare availability. ICE PLANT AND SHEET CONDITION is the daily ice record per sheet: slab temperature, air temperature and humidity, pebble head size and number of passes, nipping depth, measured ice speed in seconds hog to hog, recorded curl in feet of draw, and the technician on shift. The LEAGUE PROGRAMME carries each league with its night and format and a full standings table down to ends won and shot difference. The DRAW SCHEDULE is the drawmaster's grid - every draw with its sheet allocation A to F, the hammer assignment for the first end and the spares called. RINKS AND POSITIONS names the skip, third, second and lead of every four.

END-BY-END SCORING holds the completed game: the running line score by end for both rinks, the hammer in each end, blank ends, steals and the thinking clock remaining. SHOT PERCENTAGE AND PLAYER STATS scores every shot on the four-point scale and reports by player, by position and by shot type. BONSPIEL MANAGEMENT runs the weekend with its triple-knockout A, B and C events. STONE INVENTORY AND MATCHING records each stone by set letter and number, granite source, running band condition and measured draw time to the tee. LEARN TO CURL, ICE TIME AND FACILITY BOOKING and UMPIRES AND RULES complete the operation. A MEMBER PORTAL gives a curler their own draws, position and shot percentage by shot type, and a CLUB DASHBOARD closes the loop.

The signature drawing is the house itself: the twelve-foot, eight-foot, four-foot and button as true concentric stroked rings with the centre line and tee line ruled across, and the eight stones of a decided end placed at their real positions in two handle colours, the hammer ringed in granite amber and the scoring stones inside the twelve-foot called out. Designed in Scandinavian ice-sheet graphic design crossed with Bauhaus geometric sports poster - a deep glacial navy ground, ice white, a cold glacial cyan as the structural accent and a single granite amber reserved strictly for the hammer, a stone withdrawn from play or a subscription in arrears, built from pure geometry with no illustration and no texture.
